About
Meet Colton
Originally from the small town of Ozark, Arkansas, Colton realized he wanted to be an attorney when he saw the impact an attorney had on the lives of his family members after the loss of a loved one. Colton graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he competed on the Traveling Mock-Trial team and served on the Student Bar Association. He was quickly hand-picked by Doug and Cathy Norwood to join their team after hearing of his success and work ethic. Colton was excited to join the firm because he had heard how hard Norwood & Norwood works to better the lives of their clients. Since then, Colton has taken on numerous cases with Norwood & Norwood, and his work has resulted in multiple cases being dismissed.
Prior to attending law school, Colton earned his bachelor’s degree at Arkansas Tech University where he graduated Cum Laude. While at Arkansas Tech, Colton served on the Presidential Leadership Cabinet and the Student Affairs Conduct Board. In his spare time, Colton enjoys spending time with his family and playing with their dog.
“The Constitution does not make guarantees. It makes promises. It is up to criminal defense attorneys to ensure those promises are given meaning. I’ve seen first-hand the impact that an attorney can have on the lives of their clients, and there is no better feeling than paying it forward by fighting for those who cannot defend themselves.”
