Tom has served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in both Pulaski and Washington counties. Tom has handled thousands of criminal cases, ranging from traffic violations to DWIs to violent felonies. During his time with the prosecutor’s office, Tom gained an understanding of the tactics employed by both the prosecutors and the police to convict people charged with crimes. Tom is excited to use his knowledge and insight to battle for the clients of Norwood and Norwood and to help them win their cases!
Mr. Marks was hand-picked by Norwood and Norwood to be part of the DWI/DUI and criminal defense legal team after observing Mr. Marks work as a deputy prosecutor and how skilled he was in that role, both as a negotiator and as a trial attorney. Mr. Marks agreed to join the law firm because after being a deputy prosecutor, and dealing with Norwood and Norwood on many cases, he gained a great deal of respect for the firm and the dedication they show to their clients.
Mr. Marks graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law in 2011 with a law degree. While in law school, Mr. Marks served as a member of UALR law review and was also a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Marks is also currently serving as an adjunct professor for the Northwest Arkansas Community College. He is married, and he and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters and one son.
