For over a quarter of a century, former deputy prosecutor Doug Norwood has devoted his legal career to defending the people of Northwest Arkansas against criminal charges. He started his firm as a solo attorney that did all kinds of legal cases. Doug quickly decided that DWI / DUI and criminal defense were the only kinds of cases he wanted to handle. He chose not to do bankruptcies, divorces, personal injury cases, etc. Over the last 25 plus years, he has hand-picked a team of top litigation attorneys who he leads. Mr. Norwood and his team have defended more than 25,000 criminal cases, including more than 8,000 DWI / DUI cases.

From the day he opened the doors to his own practice in 1988, he has made it his mission to try to make available the highest level of criminal defense for anyone in Northwest Arkansas who has been charged with a crime, regardless of the depths of their pockets. Mr. Norwood firmly believes that everyone charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty, and entitled to the best legal defense possible.
